Ladies I Love
I know your feeds are filled with mushy messages, sarcastic memes and a whole heap of love today. So I thought I would keep that theme going.
I am the biggest supporter of women. Women in business, women in the workplace, women at home, women doing whatever makes them happy generally. Instead of a post about my husband & son on this love-filled day though I would share a list of the ladies who inspire me continuously. All of them do it in a different way. Some I know personally, others I just admire from afar online via Instagram (in a totally non-creepy way). The one thing they all have in common? Aside from being female, they are all blazing their own unique path. And I bloody love them for it.
Love love love love love. Have I said it enough now? Happy Valentines Day.
Art by Kezz
As if I could start this list without my Mum. Her talent speaks for itself through her artwork. A single parent who has gone above and beyond for her children, she is the definition of strength.
@ The Bowtique / Little Vibes
Mel is no stranger to you guys. I've shared her amazing-ness before but here it is again. My best friend, boss lady, creative genius and the kindest soul you'll meet.
Vital Therapy By Emma Jones
My history of health woes is long and extensive. Nothing has helped me more than Bowen Therapy though. Emma is so in tune with other's needs. It's also beyond inspiring to see the hub of women in health she is creating within her workplace.
Michelle Harris Naturopath
Let me start this by saying that in the 10 years I have been dealing with Endometriosis and anxiety no one has helped me as much as Michelle (except Emma above and Susan, who I wrote about HERE). Her depth of knowledge, open mind and gentle judgement free nature is an absolute gift to our town.
Balanced Kids Yoga
This weekend I am taking part in an adult yoga workshop run by Jade (which I'm so excited about!). I absolutely love the way she is continuously actively encouraging self-love and confidence in our children with her Girl Power Class.
Ruby Square Boutique / Living / Coffee Bar
The way to my heart is with my morning coffee. Tyla has transformed her space into a gorgeous little haven. What a street of women Loxton has!
Being Milla & Me
Always providing a dose of laughs and honest motherhood insights when I need them.
As mentioned before there are numerous ladies I follow online who I ADORE (remember, non-creepily is key here). They all inspire me in different ways. Their thoughts on issues big and small, their humour, their intelligence, their wit, the way they style their outfits, their beauty hacks or the insights into running their businesses are something I look forward to each day. There are so many more but here are my recommendations.
