Did you know we are more than just a dress shop? We have an extensive range of lingerie and accessories, as well as an in store bra fitter. In keeping with the Frankie & Dandelion philosophy of being as helpful as possible, I thought I would share with you my essential "tool kit".

It's that time of year when you feel like you have event after event. Function after function. Of course this comes with multiple outfits but have you taken a look at your undergarments lately? These are the hard workers and quiet achievers. The wrong one can result in an extremely uncomfortable evening. Whereas the right one will make you forget it's even there.

This style is perhaps the one where my previous sentence applies most. The wrong fit in a strapless style will have you hitching it up all night. The right one will be a dream to wear. We have multiple in store however my go-to is this style by Triumph. Bonus, it goes up to a G cup!

Forget the name, this is really an everyday style. Smooth cups are perfect underneath summer tops and the nude colour is practical. The most common mistake I hear is ladies thinking they need a white bra underneath a white top. Wrong. White will still show through whereas the nude colour is designed to be invisible.

Not the prettiest style however this is one of those foundation pieces I constantly talk about. There's a reason why Bridget chose this style - it smooths, skims, sucks and creates a flattering silhouette.

Not everyone is comfortable with a plunging neckline or showing off a peek of their bra. This is the perfect piece to add extra coverage without an entire layer. It's also great for hiding the clasp of your bra if you have a top with an open back or gaping arm holes.

Something all wardrobes need. The cami brings warmth in winter and adds a solid layer underneath those sheer blouses. This particular style has a control element as well as being available in black and nude.

This is your must have underneath those summer dresses that are just a little too sheer for your liking! Again this style has a control element and is available in two colours.

Now I wouldn't recommend this for anyone over a D cup. However for those that can getaway with going bra-less, the stick on adds an extra element of security and avoids the "headlight" look.

Personally my handbag contains a tin of hollywood tape at all times. It secures a flimsy neckline, holds slippery straps in place and can quickly solve a hem issue. There are a multitude of uses for it.
